Bolero

Bolero follows Miami lawyer Natalia Armand as she is forced to confront a secret she never wanted to admit: she has never met her biological father. Her secret comes to light after an explosion suggests that her newly-discovered, cartel-kingpin-connected, biological father Alberto Maciel is presumed dead. Natalia suspects, to the chagrin of the cartel, that he may still be alive.

When  she looks for answers to discover the truth about him , facts point her to the forbidden island: Cuba. Her curiosity comes with a consequence––her children are kidnapped. She quickly finds herself trying to find her children, searching for the truth about her father, and uncovering the connection they all have to the island.

True to its title, Bolero illustrates that a father and daughter can be more alike than they ever knew––that a father’s semblance and intrepid nature can repeat in his daughter like stanzas repeat in a bolero.
